The doctor is a board certified ophthalmologist who has performed more than 75,000 procedures over the course of his career. He received his doctorate from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India. He served as an intern at Mercy Hospital. He opened his practice in Western New York in 1980. The surgeon began refractive procedures in 1986 when he performed his first R.K. procedure.
